How anyone could leave this poor girl is beyond me. She never cried, never begged, never really wanted anything, so when you gave her something - it was a treat to her, no matter what it was - a bone, a bed, even a bowl of food. She was the pack leader around here for the short time she was with us, if any of those youngsters started acting up - Tasha would let them know who was boss (even though they were all twice her size) She came to me a skinny, shakey, scared little girl - and left me a strong, beautiful, shiny, playful girl with a sparkle in her eyes. I think she held up as long as she did, because she didn't want to be remembered as that sickly little thing that she was when we got her, she wanted to get her strength and beauty back and once she did, she knew she could go with peace. Thanks for all the help and support I've gotten since I recieved Tasha, helping me make the last few months of her life good for her.

Our Nikita passed away this morning. She is in heaven playing with Sheba and Princess that passed away in 2002. We will miss here terribly Libby & Buddy
